Kaski looks
Two questions in one page. First, how the yard itself should look now that furniture is a textured low-poly model: the ground, a longhouse and the furniture under four treatments, from the dithered pixel bands the game draws today to soft light at full resolution. Second, how the camera pulls out to a world map: drag the zoom out and the camera eases toward top-down, and once people and trees are too small to draw upright they turn into icons, which can be switched off, while a lens of the strategy-game kind fades in over the land: a painted map, the households, the forest or the height.
